I design and build digital products, tools, write about ideas, and share what I learn along the way.

Is it a good time to go outside? Barrah scores every hour for heat, dust and sun, finds your best windows, and warns of dust six hours ahead. Built for the Gulf.
The viruses have taken over the flask. You have the pills. Let's go.
Beautiful grid system for designers and developers.
I’ve spent about twenty years turning complicated ideas into things that actually work — mostly at the scale where a lot of people depend on the outcome. The hard part is rarely the technology. It’s clarity: getting a room full of smart people to agree on what “done” means, then protecting that definition while everything around it changes.
Outside of that, I build for myself. Apps, tools, music, small experiments that solve a problem only I have. Some of it turns into something, a lot of it doesn’t, and that’s fine — the making is the point. I care that a thing is useful first and pleasant to use second, and I’m still learning, which is the part I enjoy most.
